How much is everyone paying for the 4th Gen these days?

Said goodbye to my old friend, 98 LS400 and State farm told me the premium remains almost same lol, like 150/mo full coverage on 11 LS460.

I bought the LS hoping it won't be astronomical like the EVs I was looking at MachE/Model 3 which was like 130-150/mo

My 300k mile 2014 AWD 460 is ~$100 per month. But I think it helps because I have a 2nd car on the same policy so I get a multi-car discount. I've been told by Statefarm that if I went down to 1 car I'd probably be paying the same amount as I am with both right now ~$180. That multi-car discount must be pretty good. So go buy a $500 beater car with a title and buy the minimum insurance and save like $40-50 per month. (I am not a financial advisor)

My car is a 2011 swb and just renewed at $920.00 for the year. Full coverage no rental but have towing included. And a $1000.00 deductible. Higher deductible will give you a better rate. I also have multi car discount, one other car. And I get a homeowner discount as well. Been insured thru Erie since the early 90,s and they are great company. I believe you do need an agent to work with them.

Every state has different rates. Also, one's individual demographics affects rates. Because of this, it's more productive for the owner to get some quotes by shopping around themselves.

While I understand that, it helps to see how much it costs nationwide to insure a Lexus LS. I wasn't aware about erie, but apparently, they seem to offer much better rates in East coast. It kind of helps tbh. I am trying to find some oddballs that would rate/quote different for Lexus LS drivers instead of just clubbing everything based on cost of vehicle alone.

I agree about rates being different in each state. My daughter lives in Florida and that state is just plain high. And to think that I called my agent and bi_ched about it being so high. I didn't realize I'm probably getting a good rate..I was basing it off what I was paying for my old 2016 SRT Challenger which was $740.00 for a year. I bought that car new and to think a 2011 LS460 would be higher than that just boggled my mind. I also did not know that Erie charges less where Iam but some states do have higher liabilities than others. As far as Erie goes they have the best rates for my location than any other company Ive checked with recently. Shop around and keep that deductible high to make your premium less. Insurance companies like this because it shows you have more vested interest in the claim and are more liable to not have an incident. And if you don't drive alot of miles then go down to the lower miles per year that they ask you about. The lowest Erie has is 12000 miles per year which is what I have. Good luck with it Sheri.
