As the engine and transmission al have mounts, it's best to replace all at once. It's less labor to do them that way. Dealer has highest labor rates, Toyota next and indy shops even lower. Call around. Use Lexus OEM parts only for long life.
I have received/obtained a great deal of motor mount data. the LS 460 2007- did not require engine removal? Apparently the 20012 ls 460L does,require engine removal. Has anyone had their mounts replaced and know if engine removal is required on ls460L? Thank you ! .
I recall some posts here saying that a dealer will do that because it's Lexus protocol. Members mentioned that there is a way to shortcut this by slightly prying the engine up. A dealer won't do that.
