I recently installed a pioneer CarPlay radio into my non nav non ML 03’ 430.
-I noticed a crackling noise in the speakers and noticed the surrounds are completely tore off the cones when I did the door lock fix. So it needs door speakers. Are there any direct plug and play ones? I can’t find the ohm rating on the stock ones.
-I also can’t turn the volume up very high as I’m guessing it’s overloading the factory amp? I can get it to a normal volume but every once in a while there’s a song you want to crank up.
- The steering wheel controls don’t work with the pac PAC RP4.2-TY11 install kit I installed. Is there an adapter I could use just for this?
I searched for about an hr and couldn’t find the answers. Sorry if it’s been discussed before.

You can replace the foams on the speakers with stick on ones.
Damaged speakers will distort like **** when you crank the volume.
Without the surrounds you will also destroy the speakers.

I’m fine with replacing them if there’s a direct (ish) bolt in. But it won’t matter if I can’t turn the volume up on the radio.
