Code P1340 camshaft positioning sensor
2003 ls430 115k miles
My car wouldn’t start and I get the code P1340 for camshaft position sensor ‘A’ bank 1 sensor 2. I just replaced the sensor, the car starts but I still get CEL, Check VSC, and the red triangle. The car has a rough idle and once it hits 40 mph it revs high but doesn’t accelerate. Any possible solutions before I take it to the dealer ?
