Hello guys,
I am looking for uded transmission from a scrap yard.
Are there things to be checked model batch. Are batch which is preferred. The yard gives me two days of guarantee. I am no mechanic. Any tips would be appreciated

 

Its probably a crap shoot at best, but if I had a choice I would choose one based on transmission fluid color - red, not black, and no burnt or other bad smell. Are you planning on installing it within the guarantee period? Two days is kind of ridiculous. Ask for longer - what you need, not what they tell you.

 

Two days is insane. 30 days with warranty is normal

 

I would have to agree. If the shop is only giving a two day "warranty" on a transmission, which is certainly not going to be installed within just two days, I would find another yard.
