Default Intermittent ticking noise after startup

Hello, please help me diagnose the noise. The car is 190K miles and recently I started getting this noise.
It's starts right after the startup (the starter seems to work fine), it's intermittent. For example - I can shut down the car in a few seconds after the startup - start it again and it will be silent.
I tried to locate the noise with a stethoscope, but coulnd't find the exact location, it's more hearable underneath the car (between the oilpan and gearbox), but kind off somewhere higher.

I remember that it all started with a loud grind after the startup.
I changed the oil right after this, didn't help.
Didn't diagnose with a scanner.
Thank you.

Almost certainly the starter motor. It is in the V of the engine at the rear.
Put your stethoscope on the rear of the block after removing the plastic cover.
Could be that something is not cleanly disengaging after the starter is released and that is hitting.
It's certainly loud enough and definitely metal on metal!

A cracked flexplate will make a sound just like that. You can remove the inspection cover and try to get a look at it but they usually crack near the crankshaft bolts.

thank you for your response.
I'm also more inclined to think that it's the starter. Because, lately, from time to time I also get problems with starting the vehicle. The starter is turning, but there's no ignition. Keeping the leg on the gas pedal helps.
Today I had this situation 2 times throughout the day, but no noise after. I also got that noise once after I started the vehicle, restarted immediately and it was gone.
