I have a 2005 Lexus LS 430 and the smart access not working, the trunk won’t open when I hit the button with the key in my pocket, and I have to put the key in the ignition to crank it. I want to know is there is a fuse to run the smart access?

 

1) there is a small button above your right shin way under the dashboard, owners manual shows you where and what it does - turns on and off smart key function.
2) you might have a dead battery in the fob.
