Default Does this sound like a bad clock spring?

So I recently bought a 2004 UL to replace my other 2004 UL because I deemed it was just too much to get it into the condition I wanted. Too many things went wrong like the water damage that occurred due to a leaking windshield and trunk I didn't know about... sigh. Anyway, on the new 430, none of the steering wheel buttons work except for mode and changing tracks/stations. I can't even adjust the follow distance for the adaptive cruise.

Does this sound like the clock spring? It's supposed to be a beautiful day today so I'm thinking of swapping the clock spring from my old LS which has been retired to a parts car.

Sounds like a good place to start, especially if you have another one to swap.

Does the horn work intermittently while turning the wheel or not at all? Another good indicator of a bad clockspring.

I just went out and tried it. The horn honks just fine while the I turn the wheel all over the place.
