Good to know, I think someone commented on the other thread saying their car didn't have one so I assumed it was added mid gen...
Theirs must have been removed by the previous owner.

 

That image is what I saw in the air box intake. Filter is attached to the box with the plastic frame which is easily removable with hands. Keep in mind that any remaining plastic pieces must be removed to prevent it from getting inside the throttle body. Sorry I didn’t make any photos.

 

Anyone have images of emmissions screen assembly removed?
