Default Wheel size

I am thinking about replacing my LS430 wheels. Current size is 18" x 7.5". Tires are 245/45R18. In looking at replacement wheels, do I have to get exactly 18 x 7.5? Or would 18 x 8 or 18 x 9 work? What size options will work on a 430? Will my tires work on other size wheels?

Thanks

You also have to make sure the wheels have the right offset, and that they will clear the brake caliper.
If you're going to stay with an 18" wheel why are you trying to change them out?

My current wheels all have curb rash and will cost around $500 to fix. So looking at other options that might work. I have stock wheels now but am thinking about this style.

The 245/45-18 can be mounted from 7.5-9" rim widths. The sidewall stretch with a 9" will reduce the effectiveness of the rim protector ridge that is molded into the tires.

Among other ways, without having to remove tires some consider ...
