What's the best and safest method to clean dust and smudges from the clear plastic on the instrument cluster?

Use Meguiar's Mirror Glaze No. 17 to clean and remove fine scratches. For further protection use their Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish No.10. I've used this for years in all my automobiles. My 04 panel looks new.

Recommend only using a microfiber cloth and always removing (tearing off) any tag(s) on the microfiber cloth before using.

Tear off that tag to avoid it scratching any surface!

i have used meguiars plast-x on it and its crystal clear. it works wonders
on the wood trim too
