removing gear headrests
I was in a discussion on a non-car forum and it turned to the limited visibility from windows in modern cars. Someone had managed to remove the rear headrests in his 2019 Subaru Outback Touring model to improve rear window visibility since he never has rear seat passengers.
I would like to do this with my 2003 LS430 Lexus, as I also never have rear seat passengers, but it is not obvious to me how to do this. Does anyone know how?
I am sure someone will post that this is dangerous to rear seat passengers, but it has probably been decades since I had any passengers in the car at all, and if the situation arose I would replace the headrests.
Thanks.

The 2 side headrests can be pulled out completely by pressing and holding the release button. The center headrest is bolted in place and can only be detached by removing the 3 bolts circled in red in my previous post.
Thank you! For some reason I only saw the two pages from the owner's manual when I read your previous post. Where did you get the other pages, are they from some service manual?
