Angry Tire wear

I have a 2002 LS 430 and running 18 inch later model wheels. My tires do not last more than 20K. Currently been using Continental DWS...vehicle has over 180K. Any ideas? Wear is mostly even across tread. No burn outs or crazy driving...

DWS is a "performance" A/S tire although when you say 20k, is it down to the indicators that fast? My mom had those on her Acura and she thought they didn't last long but they went 40k. In her mind tires should last the life of the vehicle lol

Down to threads, past wear markers. Less than 18 months.

Here in Florida I’m fine with getting 25,000 miles out of tires regardless of the make of tire or car. Presently I’m on a set of Michelin Primacy MXM4s. Our cars are tanks and fairly heavy. I’ve always driven on Michelins which have never been known for long tread wear but make up for it with great handling and rain performance. Overall, most tires today are not close in long lasting tread wear now that low profile tires are here to stay.

Currently running a 5 year old set of Michelin Premier tires purchased from Costco. They have 44k miles on them and still look pretty good. Likely will swap them out at 50k. I do have tires balanced and rotated every 5k miles and the car is garaged and live in mild/hot climate.
