looks like #'s 23829A (NO1), 23826, 23827A, 23829A (NO2) at least in the immediate vicinity of the VSV

what about parts 23818 and 77739? how do those relate to the VSV? anyone know? 23818 seems to be a vapor tank of some sort but 77739 is a "vapor canister purge solenoid"

I tried it out my 2 rubber hoses were pretty dried up so I took it slow as soon as I squeezed the tab for the connector it broke sigh, I blew air threw one end and nothing came out the other end so I wasn’t to sure how I was suppose to fully clean it with wd40, op how did you clean yours did you just clean the tubes or did you open the valve ?

I reached the max for the average for my city driving after more than 7 days of constant increase by 0.1 increment. I never saw such numbers in my car before, however, right after I cleaned the valve, I am getting this type of fuel economy. This actually tells me that I had a problem in my EVAP system all this time, which led me to keep paying more for gas. However, even though I fixed the short term fuel consumption issue, I want to look at much longer time span.

I noticed when I was cleaning the valve, it was closed towards one of the direction. When I sprayed the other tube, it did go through the whole valve and leaked from the other end. I didn’t have to apply voltage to it.

Has anyone else other than the OP cleaned their vacuum switch valve with any positive results to report back?

I’m still having rough start ups sometime
and sometimes it starts perfectly. weird
and when I put the car in drive the idle is around 450-400rpm I can feel the car vibrating but when I turn on ac the rough idle goes away

After changing a cracked tube from the air filter to the crank case , cleaned the maf with crc and throttle body with crc
my rough idle is less noticeable it’s around 600-550 rpm it was 450-400 and my average mpg is at 15.5 and going up

1) Set engine rpms to 2300 and spray seafoam engine spray into the entrance of throttle body
2) put two cans of seafoam fuel cleaner in the empty tank and fill gas 1/4 of total volume
3) make sure you give the car the good throttle for the first 20 miles of driving
4) see if this made the difference
If it doesn’t, then you are dealing with air/fuel problem / vacuum leak issue / bad ignition. Also, try to reset battery for more than 20 minutes.
Let me know if you have any improvements in case if you decide to give seafoam a try.
