So I recently bought a lexus ls430, 04 model. I have noticed that the Center right hand side AC vent gives out white smoke every now and then. I searched online and i could not find anything other than the fact that it could be because of a humid/hot climate.
But that cant be it for me because its coming only from a specific vent and everyday regardless of the weather conditions. Also the frequency has increased over time.

Has anyone experienced the same? and does anyone know what is the issue and how to fix it?

FYI i have already cleaned the AC filters and they are pretty much in a neat condition.

 

Can you detect the sweet smell of coolant/antifreeze? If so, you have a small leak in the heater system. Otherwise, it is likely that your A/C is working very well and causing the humid air in front of the vent to condense and turn into a sort of icy fog.
