Default 2004 LS - navigation, sound system and climate control buttons

I made a HUGE mistake when jump Starting my car last week and attach the wrong end of the cable to the battery. When I did this a small spark came up and then ever since then the panel to control the audio system, Navigation and temperature control etc. does not work. I had someone check the fuses and they said that it didn’t appear to be any of those and then I will need to bring the car in for diagnostics. Does anybody have any idea of what this might be? I would really like to try to either fix it myself or see if my father can fix it if at all possible as I am unable to work right now.

I would double check the fuses yourself. It is possible you fried something but that's exactly why the fuses are there, to protect the boards from that happening.

Sometimes it's hard to be sure a fuse is ok without taking it out and holding it up to the light to make sure it's intact. Hell, they are so cheap I might change that fuse just to make sure.

Hi! Thanks so much for your reply! Do you have any idea where the fuse for that panel is? I was thinking also that maybe there’s a special place that my father and the Toyota tech wouldn’t have looked for a fuse box or something?
