As is, is one of the smartest things a private seller can do, but it turns me off that it needs to be stated on the "advertisement." I totally get that's gonna be on the bill of sale. jmo I don't like warning lamps being on and getting an explanation from the seller, that's like the fox looking out for the hen house. Pretty sure that's not a check engine (VSC), but in my state and many, check engine is a fail on the annual emissions...I take it OP is not the seller or I wouldn't give my opinion...PASS....

Here we do not have emissions tests..anymore.
