2004 ML Audio Issue
Hi all
3 days ago I was coming back from work listing to the radio when a sudden pop sound came and all sound was did. Evin the sound chime / ding sound when changing AC settings or Nav settings disappeared. I was going to look into it later, did not have time look into it.
today when I was coming back home a pooping / scratching sound was coming from the speakers witch scared me as this means that power is coming to the speakers and I am afraid to get an elikctrical fire as it maybe a short.
Can anyone a dive on this or witch fuse that will kill the power to the sound system, but I stroll can use and adjust the AC.

It sounds like your amplifier is going out. I wouldn't be too worried about an electrical fire from a short, but you can pull the large connector from the amplifier on the right hand side of the trunk and it will be unpowered. Tape the connector off with good electrical tape, like 3M Super 33+, and you'll be fine.
