Door Wiring Question - Unlock Wire
Update :
Question for the electrical pros in here.
I'm adding a shock sensor to my car alarm, tying into the door trigger button. When manually held down the door trigger with alarm set and released the alarm goes off as it should.. With the shock sensor tied in, and manually holding down the door trigger. When I hit the shock sensor the light on the door turns on, indicating that the car thinks the door is opening for a brief moment but alarm doesn't sound. There is only one wire coming out of the door trigger button and that's the one I'm tapped into. This is boggling my mind, any ideas? Is it because it's got a timer? Or maybe I need a relay or something to keep it open? Not sure what's going on here, light on the door turns on for a second while the sensor goes off but alarm doesn't sound.
