Default Knock sensor issues or Exhuast? cant determine

Hi all,

I have 2002 LS430 , I have been dealing with an accelaration issues. I have replaced all plugs , coils packs which were misfiring, I have replace both Bank 1&2 Cats , the only code thrown from the ECU is this Knock sensor P0326 I believe. Would this Directly affect my Acceleration? Outside of that I do have a couple of tiny pin hole leaks in my exhuast.

Default Knock Sensor Issue/Exhuast Issue??

Hey All,

I am new here so if there is a post related please post the link here. Any who, I am an owner of a 2002 LS430 ULT, I have had an acceleration issue for the past year and before I decide to get rid of the car, I am hoping some of the fellow lex lovers of this community can help.
Repairs so far:
Replaced L&R VVT-i Valves
Replaced ALL misfiring coil packs
Replaced ALL 8 Spark plugs
Replaced Bank 1 & 2 Cat converters
Quick History: about 5 years ago my EX at the time's EX! boyfriend was mad, long story short , he put sugar in the gas tank. me unknowingly started the car and allowed the sugar to run threw the FL's into the combustion chamber, it was downhill from there. Car shut off continutious yada yada yada, Got it to a shop:
He Serviced the following:
Flushed Gas tank
Flushed and Cleaned Injectors and Rail
Replaced Fuel pump ,Filter and sending unit
After that the car ran but never the same. This is when I started to get the original problems listed above the quick history.
The only code being thrown right now is Knock Sensor code P0326 I have the part but before I spend $450 bucks to pull the head off is there an easier way and would this be related to the problems I am having.? I also do have a few pinhole leaks on the piping of the exhuast. before the middle cat and a really bad leak on the INLET going into the left side muffler if you were standiing behing my LS. this is bad to the point that if I smash the gas I would smell fumes and see my back window go cloudy from the heat being pushed up threw the trunk
Conclusion: Is my motor just caput? do i need to rebuild from the ground up?Rebuild entire exhuast systemn?? get the knock sensor done? Please help! thank you for reading my long hell of a story

Clean your mass air flow sensor with the proper aerosol cleaner. This has fixed many peoples acceleration issues, including mine.
