Electrical Gremlins
HI everyone. My car is having some weird electrical issues. A couple of weeks ago, the passenger window would roll down but not roll up. This week, the drivers side window won't roll down. This morning I went to vent the moonroof and it wouldn't work (I do this everyday) and just now the drivers side window started working. Maybe a weak battery or alternator? It's odd how these things are moving around the car.

if the battery is new and has been verified to be ok, then I would try and get an electrical diagram for these components and see if they meet at a common location. It could be related to a loose or damaged connector at a onboard computer. Rkw77080 do you have an electrical diagram for the power windows and moon roof?

A lot of Texans would say just replace the battery every 2 years, myself included. It's not that expensive and at 2 years, the warranty isn't much good anyways. The heat here in Houston really takes a toll on them. YMMV.
