Default B pillar cut polish

Has anyone tried paint cut polish their b pillars on their LS430? Mine are in pretty bad condition and don't want to make it worse.

thanks

Mine are pretty swirled up also, probably from improper washing/auto washes. I plan to polish them up with my 3 inch orbital this weekend, just going to use a fine cut polish on a final polishing pad.

You can polish them up, but once they start fading like that, the best option is to sand them and give them a coat of paint. I'll be painting mine jet black with crystal silver pearl

I polished mine a few years ago with Menzerna PO 203, still looking good. I used my Porter 7424XP, don't recall which pad I used, but I only own a White, Black, and Orange pad so it was one of those, probably the Black one as to not get the black pillar dust all over my white pad.

I used Zaino Z-AIO and mine cleaned up to be very shiny. I used Zaino Z-PC for small scratches where necessary.

I did the same when I had my 2001 Impala LS and got the same great results.

I agree that Z-AIO should do the trick. It has a very mild cut, less cutting power than PO203, but pair it with an orange pad if you don't achieve the desired cut. I use both Z-AIO and PO203 and always have both on hand.
