G-Spiders, do I need new tires?
I’m looking at a set of g-spider wheels in the same 18 inch as my stock wheels. They are staggered wheels with 8” widths on the front, and 8.5 inch widths on the rear. The seller says they can do all 4 wheels in 8 inch. they are new stock.
Will ll I need to buy new tires? And if so what sizes? The car came with anew set of the 5000M’s on it, so I’m not sure I want to dump another 800-1100 in new tires if I buy the rims.

Potentially need spacers. As it has been mentioned here, offset is not everything. One way to look at it, is that you can have the same offset, but the spokes are different. factory 18's have no deep dish effect whatsoever (if anything, the opposite) as the spokes attach at the edges of the wheel. Think about a 2002 BMW or Lincoln, back then, the rims were deep dish, with the spokes being way in from the edge of the rim. my .02.

This guy is running them, but didn’t state if he ended up need spacers. The g spiders I believe fit over 2is big brakes so there is a chance they will work without spacers
