The one in my driveway.

2005 UL, black on black. While I know I’m a minority, I really love the UL package. The ride and comfort levels are outstanding. I searched off and on for around 18 months to find one with low original miles (60k) and a good maintenance history. Because I bought it just recently, the cost was relatively low, and I have to funds to maintain and fix what needs to be done. Ideal for long distance road trips, this is my 3rd over a thousand miles, and no concerns when hitting the road!

Quote: Just so all know, the 2006 LS sales brochure states that a saddle interior was available with just 2 exterior colors: Flint Mica and Black Onyx. Further, the Ecru interior only came with Golden Bird's-Eye Maple wood trim, the gray not being available in 2006.
There goes my white/saddle dream. lol

02-03 UL, with black interior and painted in 8S6. Not concerned about mileage because they don't break. Then it'd have full air ride, 20s, blown 2UZ, Power Dynamix built A650E trans, Cusco LSD, and repainted in my custom colour that I'm working on.

My ML will eventually be up to that state, minus the air ride.

Also the ML has laminated side glass. At least mine does anyway. I know this because some degenerate piece of garbage (my neighbour) decided he would break into my LS430 one night. Had a go at my driver's door, broke the window but didn't expect it to stay together, then broke the rear quarter window and had to put his fist through it to get inside

I don't know if laminated is associated with acoustics.....my wife's windshield actually says acoustic on it....

Odd that I found this here which says there is a disadvantage with the laminated side glass. I do see squiggly lines in the Lexus and my wife's windshield, during certain instances.

I looked at those b4 I got the LS, and they were cheaper with much lower mileage. Funny how it's rather doubtful the outcome 18 mos. later would have likely been much different, where with the LS, all that went bad were 2 park assist sensors...

All auto windshields are laminated. Tempered glass would shatter and get you killed easily.

They are referring to the side glass.

copy paste below from an old thread

When I see the price delta of $955 between CL and ML, it made me wonder what kind of moron would have not ordered it? Then, you see that you have to add 1 flavor of custom leather ($1460 or $2100) in order to get the CL. So you get better leather too--at minimum, nappa, at best, aniline.

edit: There was a CL without collision warning, which was a $2,250 option. My delta above is without.

Other than price, that is a beautiful car. I wouldn't worry about the air suspension on the UL. When it goes, there are plenty of conversion options, and you never have to worry about air suspension again.
I'm curious as to what the transaction price will be.

I do not think it will sell for that price. Our 04 ML with 64k was $12k. Not a UL, but virtually spotless. Nice color combo though.

Yeah, that is a crazy high price. It's the color combo I want, but at that price I wilk stick with my 2001 ML. Plus, I really want a CL. I need the trunk space.
