Found an 05
Hi everyone. Been looking for an LS430 for a while and I think I found one. It's an 05 Custom Luxury with 77k miles. Pretty good shape, timing belt, water pump, lower control arms and lots of dealer service. New tires, but the car has Premiers on the front and Dunlop's on the back. Tires have maybe 6k miles on them total.
It's not perfect cosmetically, some scratches on the front and rear bumper, but overall really great. Price is 11,500. Thoughts?

The price seems within the reasonable range. We bought an 04 with 64k last fall for $12k. Lexus service and minty condition.
Prices are regional and will depend on how much you want to pay. If the tires are near new, I wouldn't worry too much about 2 different brands. Not sure why they would do that. Tires are pretty cheap.
Offer less and see how much they want to sell. Good luck! Send photos if available.

As described, $11,500 is a fair enough starting point. Shoot for a selling price between $10,500 and $11,000 including dealer fee, if any.

Price seems a tad high for an individual selling. About right for a dealer. I'd try to get them as close to $10 as you could. Especially with the scratches on the bumper it's not perfect. Still may to get PPI on it just for insurance.

Post pictures when you get it.
Also, don't forget to check all he door actuators and the telescopic/tilt steering wheel before pulling the trigger. They'll need to fix if they are bad or at least you can use it as a bargaining point. Neither are necessarily cheap nor fun to replace but are doable so it's not a deal breaker either way.
