Replacement engine cover nut
Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement engine cover nut? I dropped one and it disappeared into oblivion somewhere under the car most likely lodged into a crevice and I cannot find it. I am talking about the 10mm metal acorn nut that holds the silver plastic engine cover on. There are two of them and I still have one so the cover is not going anywhere but it would be nice to have the other one as well. I imagine I can find something similar at a hardware store if I have to go that route but I would prefer a matching original one. Thanks ahead of time for any recommendations.

It's only $1.01 from Lexus of South Atlanta. Any similar online vendor would charge way more than that to ship.
I'd call your closest Lexus or Toyota dealer and ask them to stick a couple in a USPS first class pkg.

The above is the best advice when the price of the part is low. Even paying list price (say $1.21) and sales tax, it's not bad.
Or if it is something that can wait, then you add these low cost parts to a larger order. But we throw away 20 cents or a quarter without thinking twice, I'm sure.
I found the above advice to be the best way to get touch up paint. Because it is a hazardous material. Local dealer charged me list, then sent it in the US Mail. They didn't even charge me for the postage. I found that multiple dealers did not stock the 072 bc and mid coat....
