Nissan's have throttles cable but TPS is electronically controlled, if you did notice Nissan's pedals seem to be more "lively". Everyone once awhile you have to reset the ECU to relearn the throttle positions, made huge differences after the reset, you can Google it. Unfortunately I am not very sure how Toyotas and Lexus work.

This is traction control engaging slightly. It's really weird and scary at times. I've tested the theory by driving without vsc and it never does this. My03
