Default Two things.

So anyone else have an issue where the ebrake is useless? I can slam it down but it won't do anything. The break is too loose?

Another thing on on a scale on a 1-10 , 10 being the quietest, what would you rate the sound inside your LS once inside the car and and driving. I have had a 01 RL and the sound inside a 9 you don't hear nothing. I thought the LS would be the same. ? Anyway to fix it.

Sounds like your brake either needs adjustment, or new cable(s). I'm not familiar with this car, but am with my Maxima and also Volvo and GM. I personally do not feel it's needed, even with a manual, but it's part of our state inspection. I'm not sure what a 10/10 really is like, but the LS is the closest I've experienced. My BMW sounds like one of those Honda Civic with the cherry bombs in comparison. When I switch back to it, since I probably drive the LS 9 times and only 1 time in the BMW, I really have to get used to how loud it is, especially at idle. Once I do, however, I prefer it...my .02
