Nice back-to-back evaluations and recap. Never seen a owner go to such lengths, thanks! Got about 12-18 months on set of P7 Plus on wife's LS430 and absolutely love them. Also have them on kid's Honda Accord. If they made them in the size I want for my Audi A8 they would be on there as well. Super comfortable, quiet tire that is responsive enough for daily driving. Only down side I have read about but not experienced is loose performance in the wet. However, in Southern California wet or snowy road conditions are not an issue. Would buy the Pirrelli P7 Plus again.

I bought the cs5 coopers after a great experience with the cs4 cooper. I could instantly tell the cs5 was a bad choice. Loud, hard, and only lasted 27k Miles. To date, one of the worst tires I have ever purchased. Frankly, I liked the idea of them being American made but I lost all confidence in them at this point No recourse even at that low mileage. My dealer even stopped Carrying them. He recomends yokahomma exclusively now. I have 20k on them and they are getting pretty noisy.

I am am going to try the premiers this time.

. I too went with the Primacy MXM4 V rated at Costco last year. I had the MXV4s before they were discontinued. I had the Pirellis for 1,000 miles and returned them for the Primacys. No road feel with the P7 as well as the car wandering at highway speeds. I guess I’ll always be partial to Michelin’s.
