Default 04-06, convert ML to UL, possible?

I was wondering, with the relative rarity of UL models, is it possible to pick up a "lesser" model such as a CL or ML and swap some of the items over to create your own UL? Namely the rear seats/refrigerator, and NAV/BT/camera up front.

almost anything is possible with enough money and time. You'd have to find the donor parts of course but i don't know why it wouldn't work.

But i question the premise.....there are plenty of UL's around. Widen your search scope to include major cities say within 500 miles of you and you'll find plenty. Patience also helps...i'd searched for 6 months...

The rear AC/cooler unit is very big and tied into the AC system. You can see it behind the tank in my trunk. Even used I doubt it would be cheap. And very labor intensive. I agree that it would be more cost effective to buy a factory UL. The prices of them have come down considerably in the last few years. Plus, I think that the factory UL would be more reliable than a converted one.
