Nice cars under $10k are hard to find, particularly in a rural area. These cars are marketed to people with bad credit and first-time buyers. The rate is high because it's an older vehicle, and the risk of default is higher on older vehicles because it's easier to just drop a car off under a voluntary repo instead of fixing it with money they mostly don't have.

Plus, the car is at a very slow depreciation state.

Not getting an LS430 after all.

Whoever said that I would miss my 2013 was correct.

In the end, the LS was VERY nice to drive, but not enough nicer to merit a change at this time. This particular car had a couple of little issues as well, and the black wheels were obnoxious.

I really appreciate all of the input, and will be back someday. When I can pay cash for a newer LS.
