I'm certain you can. I see no reason why you can't. I was able to with my latest (and older) Samsungs. Afterall, Bluetooth is a universal protocol. It was a bit of a double process though.

Here's what i did:

1) Save your Contacts as a file into your SD card or an easily found directory on your phone. For Samsung, this file is called "Contacts.VCF"

2) Go into you LS's phone settings. Choose which Phone Book you want it sent to and select TRANSFER PHONE BOOK.

3) Go back into your phone and find the "Contacts.VCF" file. Long press the file, and it will be selected with a check mark. At the top of the page, you'll see the share symbol (3 ***** connected with 3 lines). Click it. Then you have a choice of selecting which way you want to share that file. The usual choices are "Message", "Email", "Dropbox" etc. Choose "Bluetooth". (I'm sure iPhone has a similar Bluetooth sharing protocol). Then choose which Bluetooth device to send it to...in this case whatever your LS Bluetooth is called. For me, it's called "Bluetooth HandsFree" Select it. Done.

I'm sure there are videos on Youtube on how to share files via Bluetooth on an iPhone.

iPhone does not let you save contacts to external memory - either iTunes or something like Gmail and sync only.

Seriously. So there are no iPhone users that have been able to transfer contacts to the nav. I'm going to cry. Lol

iPhone does not allow file transfer over bluetooth. It only supports PBAP (phone book access profile), i.e. if some paired bluetooth device "requests/asks" iphone to share the phonebook, iphone will oblige. Unfortunately LS430 bluetooth technology is too old, and does not have PBAP.

You can still get your contacts to LS430 if you use iCloud. Download your contacts to a PC/Mac in vCard (.vcf), pair PC/Mac to LS430 bluetooth, and push the file to LS430. Hope this helps.

I transferred contact list from iPhone using an
old android phone. First transfer from iPhone to cloud, then cloud to android and finally android to LS430.
