No upload of phone book

Trying to upload my iPhone contact list to mt factory non ml nav system unit on my 08.

phone pairs. Hit upload phonebook and the Bluetooth disconnrcts. Tried both an iPhone X and duplicate 5s.

same thing. No transfer.

?????

Back when I bought my car in 2007 I couldn't upload the phonebook either, and never did. As I recall a number of people couldn't do it and I don't remember what the issue was. You might try to do a search on the topic.

As for an "I" device, no idea... I don't know if there was an option for it but, I am sure there is.
