Had a SC400, LS400 98'. Been driving a Ford Fusion for the past 4 years. Finally got some money saved up. Found a nice one owner 01 LS430 sport with 150k miles. good condition minus a some rust forming on pass door about 4 inches long. has navi\ ML system but the amp is blown arrrghhh! has all documents since new TB done 40k miles ago. Getting it for $4800 not great but not bad either... is the only option to fix amp still to ship it out or is there any alternatives? can't swing $400 right now. Will a used one from a 01-03 work if I find a used one? thanks guys excited to be in a Lexus again!

Also what exactly did the Sport option include any specifics to spring rates and shock size difference etc?

 

Congrats on the purchase Fatboy! You'll have to add some photos when you get the car. There may be ML amplifier options out there and repair options. I know there's a few great threads on here concerning the amp and what usually goes bad on them.

I was looking for a 01-04 LS for about a year and this is the only one that says sport on the fender, must be somewhat rare? would have loved a 04 but in due time they are still fetching 8k for a nice one seen really high mile ones for $6k over 220k
