Default Rear seat belt question.

I often have adult passegers in the back seat of my 2005 Ls. They have all complained the seat belts lock as if the brake is applied. They will not release without unlatching them and get tighter with each click. I rod back there tonight and found the same.

is this common, are my belts messed up? All three in the back do this.

I found the answer to my question. The seat belt are designed to ratchet or go into car seat mode, if you pull to much belt out. To avoid this simply pull only what is needed. I will just have to provide those instructions to my passengers.
