When I first saw the one on the trunk, on my car, I thought maybe it was used in a livery business? But then I found online that it's for the XM. It seems rather vulnerable as there are wires that come outside to the puck....

It is rare that you have the Sirius version of SAT radio.

The SAT radio ID is also usually found on a sticker attached to the radio tuner -- if you can find where the tuner is hidden. Sounds like it's up front in the dash somewhere, since the antenna is upfront.

You could contact Sirius / XM directly too. They may be able to search their records via VIN from the prior owner who had a satellite subscription, so they would possibly know the correct SAT radio ID number.

Fatherto1, I got the two months free subscription. To get to the radio code you just need to go to channel 255 and click on text. That will give you all the digits that you need. The entire radio code is on both lines. Then all you need to do is go to the webpage and register for two months free.

I think I might just rip mine out and replace the antenna for a dash cam there.

Thanks a lot, legend921! I saw the two numbers for Title and Name but didn't think to concatenate them. Thanks again!

Thanks for the INRIX mention, Daspyda. I tried it but didn't find the female voice very pleasing. On top of that, the app kept incessantly repeating "Go to the provided route " while I was getting out of the parking lot. It was like a broken record and irritating. Those two annoyances turned me off to the app. The app also didn't perform much better for me throughout the day compared with Waze. I hope Google integrates Waze's features soon (having bought the company after all). I like Waze's features but prefer the Google Maps interface better. Thank you for making me aware of the INRIX option though. I'm sure they'll keep improving the app and I'll try it again in the future.

legend, I was finally able to register for the Sirius trial this morning using both Text values for the radio ID, as you suggested.

Really disappointed with the reception and channel selections from Sirius. Out of their 200+ channels I found maybe five I would consider listening to regularly. However, it's difficult to enjoy any programming because the reception cuts out for minutes at a time, despite unimpeded access to the sky. I was sitting in traffic (3 lanes in each direction) and about 50-75 feet from any buildings or trees and I had no satellite signal. When I did have reception, the quality wasn't any better than the FM band. So glad to be able to try the service put before I spent really money on something I would regret. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Fatherto1, I felt the same way with the quality of the satellite sound, so I basically just switched back to listening to CDs for the time being again. I may just take out the unit to free up some room on the windshield.
