Default 2001 LS430 audio problem

If I turn my radio up to much the sound drops in and out.
Anyone know why this would happen.

Do you have factory door speakers and subwoofer? The symptom suggests that the impedance for one or more of your speakers/woofer is too low.

Yes everything is factory. How would I go about fixing it if you happen to know?

The audio amplifier is equipped with an over-current protection circuitry which cuts off the output when excessive current is drawn. Low impedance speakers can cause this condition, but since you still have your factory speakers, the problem is likely caused by a "short" somewhere in the wiring. Which audio system do you have, Mark Levinson or Pioneer?
