Dicer sorry to hear about the problems. Going after the electrical side sounds like a good direction. It's interesting that dealer went after possible electrical to start. How often do 430 transmissions suddenly fail mechanically? Were there any warning signs like hard shifting, slippage, leaks? If the parts company is willing to replace the computer, that seems like a good option. You've got the part. Get an estimate to install. If it works, dealer should be thinking about refund of labor costs.

this makes sense. I wonder about the dealer suggesting a new 4k transmission without really checking the wiring.
