Hi ALL!


I just purchased my first Lexus in a beautiful 2003 LS 430 UL version with only 55k on it.

I have a few issues and questions that lurking around the FAQ and other threads has not helped 100%, however it has shead some light on other issues I needed to address. Below is what I need help on:

1. The dealer i purchased the car from removed the radio amp to be serviced due to it giving out a day before I made the purchase (I'd been stalking this car for a couple weeks). At their cost its being fixed in CA, however Im missing some functionality of my main interface in the main cabin. Im not clear if this is due to the amp removal or ..??? Here is whats NOT working:
a. Rear UL console, the radio and basically the main LED are out. I understand the radio but the LED is a mystery. Should I wait for the amp to get back and hope for the best or should I chase another issue?
b. The Navigation, Menu and voice buttons do not work. Again, is this hooked to the AMP in some way?

Im still investigating other issues, however these are what plagues me currently. I plan to do the timing belt myself soon since its been 13 years since it was done. I really like the car, its the exact combination I was searching for and desirable mileage and a good price.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
