Default OMG! Ignition coil are failed

Dear Sir.

I was replaced all Ignition coil for exchanging periods.

Lexus genuine parts is very expensive for me.

So, I was buy the compatible components from ebay.

Seller name is Motor-King and link is see below

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271170408999

But, Yesterday occured the vibration and shacking from Engine.

And check the my ls430 on service center.

And result is "fail 8th ignition coil".

Humm...

I'll never buy the non-genuine parts any more.

So, I'll buy the Denso global parts.

Thank you.

for sure, homie. genuine parts are always my preference. let us know how things go with the denso coil! many things can cause a misfire, but if a car has aftermarket coils, that would be my first suspicion. good luck!

What year is your LS430 and how many miles did it have when you changed the ignition coils ?

Any reason why you had to change the the ignition coils ?

Unless you have a huge number of miles on your car, only change the coil that has gone bad. An OBD II code reader should tell you which cylinder is not firing properly. Buy two coils, replace the one that is bad and save the spare.

I too have had after market coils go bad. Some are good, some are not. Another option is to get coils off of a wrecked car. Get all eight, at least most will be good.

Someone once told me that if you stacked all of the coils that were supposed to be bad, but were actually good, the stack would reach to the moon.

Agreed. That goes for many other parts too. I had a problem with cylinder 8. Removed the coil, the tube was partially filled with oil. Valve cover had loosened up and was leaking over the years and miles , oil also was leaking through the spark plug tube seal. Replaced the gaskets and seals, and cleaned up the coil pipe, and problem solved. A misfire can occur due to many other reasons.
