I realize that. They are inexpensive knock offs/aftermarket wheels. A comment was made that you get what you pay for so that's where my comment was directed. I think it has at least some relevance in the discussion.

When I was looking at wheels, I looked into OEM replica wheels but to me, they weren't as inexpensive as I would have expected so I didn't bother investigating their construction or durability. I hope they all aren't like the ones shown here. I'd be inspecting the replicas really good if I had them after reading this.

 

If they aren't from a reputable source you won't know if they're prone to failure until they fail...
