Default X Ice 3 in Storage

Thru January 24th looks like mild temps with El Nino in Wisco. Anyone else not put on their snows yet? My problem is I have chromes on my summer tires and any salt is hideus on chromes. Prolly sit my LS then most of the winter drive my Highlander.

I got snows for the Touareg, prolly return em been sitting for a month at the dealer. Its gonna be 57 for the Packer Game balmy

It's supposed to be 68 degrees tomorrow in NJ... Lol. Yeah, my wheels with Blizzacks are still in storage. I am wondering if I will need them at all this year.

Have you tried wheel wax for chromes, warm? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ar...FYOAaQodPeAGWA Protects wheels much better than chrome polish or car body wax.

My snows are not mounted yet either. My '01 and one of the '06's each have new Premiers - which should be fine with the expected mild winter. Have a 2nd set of new snow tires in need of 16" winter wheels. Also picked up a set of new OE chrome wheels for next year to complete 3 sets of winter wheels.

I have some Tom works well its pretty creamy goes on easy. I got this other stuff Poor Boys not as good. Ya I can live without putting my snows on.

YA know my X Ice 3's handle and are just about as quiet as my old MXV4's. They are good tires. I know Blizzacks are sweet also.

I have heard good reviews about the Blizzacks. I'm just happy to pick up the whole set with rims for $320 shipped to my home. eBay is great at times. This is my first set of snows so it will be interesting to see how they ride if I ever need to mount them. The tires look barely used.
