Default Tranny Issues

Hey Guys,

I have an 04LS with 140k on it. I have done a couple drain and fills but I'm due for another. Last week the tranny started downshifting prematurely, 2nd to early and 1st before coming to a stop causing the car to jerk to a stop. Any suggestions on a DIY fix? Could it be a sensor going bad? No indicators on so not sure what this could be.

Thanks,
Wes

Hard low speed downshifting is usually a sign of being low on fluid. Did you do it yourself or have it done for you?

Also, I think the proper term is transmission. Tranny refers to Bruce Jenner and that whole disgusting world.

I have some WS fluid so I will drain and fill this weekend and see if that helps.
