there is a single shielded&black wire with a blue connecter that seem to be shorted.Im working in the driveway and the sun caught me it`s 90 in the shade and I am 89. Will ck it out in morning! Thanks for help

 

This is the first and only site Ijoined. Not sure I`m responding correctly cause I dont see a couple times I wrote. I`ll get better.
The amplifier does not look like the ones that were pictured up above somewhere. It fas a single connducter plug and a32pin plug. I will check the suspect wire in the cool of tomorrow morning. driveway to hot now.

The amplifier is a DELPHI DELCO made in Mexico 10/00 the car was built about the same time.

fuse box is in rt hand kick panel, kind of hard to reach standing on my head. I will try the simpson tomorrow buit the black wire wf blue coupling does not seem to be shorted.the radio unit is pioneer made in 11-00 about the car my son bought it in 04 wf 48000 on it now has 307000 and runs looks lioke new. the audio went out the day he brought it to me. father day blessing. gps went out in dec. and 1 headlite has a problem .he has new ls460 and convertable for wife. just did not want to put more bucks in. and new I liked to fix broken things.benn fully maintained . nuff sed

just inside now. the 32 pin plug to the amp. has 2shorts
let me start over there are two large white plugs from up front of the fender that plug into the two plugs harnesfeeding the amp package. the 32 pin amp plug has 2 shorts one on each end. the other plug is same size but has only 5 pins . one is shorted.will untape the bundles and see what we find. Thanks sumore itis the panel. The operater manual that come with car shows it as a 30 amp fue. and it was 32 original that blew.
