navigation update question

Has anyone tried to use a "burned" copy of the update? Is it possible or not?

If this is your copy for archival- your personal use. Otherwise a copy can be purchased from the dealer. Any links and or discussion about pirated software posted on the forum will be removed, member banned and possible legal action.
