Default Cold weather X interior rattles

Is it just me? Or is this cold weather making the car rattle with every single detail on the road.
As we were taught in elementary school, particles expand with heat and shrink with cold..

By rattle, I don't mean mechanically. What I mean is the sounds that come from the interior, the squeaks and noises that come from all around the interior. Like the dash, the seats, the whole navigation panel.

As my wife says, I hear stuff. She doesn't hear what I'm talking about. I think it's mostly happening because of the icy cold weather that we're enduring around here. Also because I'm crazy about interior noises.

Another thought is, it might be my exhaust system that caused the car to fall apart.
My car is extremely loud if the dual cutouts are open.

What are your experiences with the cold weather?

I noticed my car rattling a little more this morning in the cold. I used to chase these things down fanatically but once you fix one, another pops up.

Exactly!

Anyways, any applications for shin etsu grease for the interior?

RTV and sound deadening material work wonders.

I do get some leather and door seal squeaking when it is cold outside. In warm weather the car is pretty quiet inside. I have been meaning to put some rubber preservative like aerospace 303, or the more specialized stuff that Honda and Mercedes sell, on the rubber door seals.

I do not get any rattles in my 2006 LS430 but I did use Honda shin etsu grease on all my vehicle rubber seals... Great stuff.
