Default Occured fail message "p1354 VVT SYSTEM BANK2"

Dear Sir.

Recentry, My ls430 occured engine viberation and shacking on Idle time.

So, I was checked the my car by local service center.

Mechanic said to me. occured "p1354 VVT SYSTEM BANK2" And this error is almost by "OCV valve".

So, mechanic replaced the "OCV valve".

The engine vibreation and shacking is reduce-down, I feel.

But sometimes i feel viberation and shacking little-bit.

Can i ignore it?

Thank you.

Can you ignore it? Only you can decide.

How many miles are on your car? Maybe worn motor mounts?

There are two OCVs (oil control valves). They should be replaced in pairs. Your mechanic replaced Bank 2 (passenger side) OCV. You are probably getting a P1349 code. Check and have your mechanic replace Bank 1 (driver side) OCV. Part # 15340-50011.

Hard to say exactly what is causing the vibration. Is it the entire car? Only the steering wheel? At 204,000km / 126,000miles, It could be quite a few things. I notice my 01 vibrates (or runs a bit rough) when its about time for an oil change.

Probably unrelated, but have you had your timing belt/water pump replaced?
