I have had the fob and my iPhone next to each other in the same coat pocket and sometimes I can not turn the ignition... It will not let me start the car. I had to walk away for 5 minutes or so then get back in the car and it started. I did put the fob in a separate pocket. I agree, I think the system gets confused...
