Default Weird smell

Yesterday I got my engine oil flush at Oil Can henry's.

I asked for Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W30.

Wasn't there during the oil change.

Just today, I noticed a weird oil smell coming from the hood area.
I didn't test the level of the oil because I just arrived from a place and the car wasn't cold enough to test it.

What are your experiences with such a thing?

If you know how to open your hood, open your hood to ensure they haven't spilled oil all over the engine or that they have put the oil cap back on?

Little oil drops were spilled over the intake manifold. All is good now.

Any reason why you flushed the engine? I'm not a fan of oil flushes in general. I think they do more harm then good. Especially, in modern sophisticated engines with very tight tolerances.

It doesn't make a big difference. My dad used to flush his BMW every time he got his oil changed. Bought it new in 2004 and the car runs smoother than butter.

I decided to switch from Castrol to Mobil 1 full synthetic, that's why I had them flush mine.
