Definitely not snake oil. Its good for injection system because the gas sold today has so much ethonol.

It's common practice to use mmo between races on alcohol powered engines. The same practice is just beneficial on gasoline engines. I mean I only build engines for a living.

How does MMO compare to Seafoam and introducing it directly into the the induction through the brake booster? Not sure I am a fan of the whole idea as it is aggressive way of cleaning.

If the injectors are clogged, from what I have read this is the best ( only ? ) way to really clean them.

My injectors are just 100,000 miles used, so I am just doing a simple cleaning after 10 years. I have decided to add the BG44K to the gas when I get closer to an oil change. I am not having any drive-ability issues - and my gas mileage is normal again.

I will keep a close watch and report after I run the BG44K through the motor and change the oil.

If anything, putting 1/3 of a can of Seafoam into the intake manifold and letting it sit for 10 min would worry me about fowling a plug or injector.

I don't like seafoam to be honest. That stuff pretty aggressive. You can't really compare seafoam to mmo. Mmo acts more like a lubricant and a light cleaner.

BG44K is great stuff and will not damage anything. I have used it in a good amount of vehicles and it has improved performance and idle quality... Remember though, these vehicles probably needed a cleaning and that is why BG made a difference in the performance/idle.
